Rimmel Grey matter & glitter

One of my favourite all year round colours is Rimmel ‘Grey matter’. For this Look I painted my nails with a base coat and two coats of Grey matter . To finish it off I used a silver , glittery top coat from the brand 17 , starting from the cuticle and sweeping it up towards the free edge creating a fading effect .

It can be done with any colours you like . Here’s mine :

E.L.F nail polish (Metal Madness)

I spotted this on the E.L.F (eyes, lips, face) website.  http://eyeslipsface.co.uk/

It wasn’t only the colour that caught my eye , but the fact that it had so many good qualities to it for such an affordable price. When I first applied this polish It took two coats for it to be fully opaque but you could definitely get away with just one. I wore It for about  five days without chipping without a top coat! It says on the packaging that it has colour-lock technology that creates a chip resistant shield for long lasting colour, and its very evident in this polish.

This polish just so happens to be healthier than most polishes on the market .

•It’s infused with Vitamin E that helps give you stronger , healthier nails

•It’s Toluene Free

•It’s formaldehyde free

•It’s Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) free

The bristles of the brush are the perfect length and makes the colour glide on effortlessly and dries almost instantly.

The colour I purchased was the colour ‘Metal Madness’ , which is a pewter/ greyish polish with multicoloured shimmer. This colour along with a few others just so happen to be nearly discontinued so heres the link for your last chance to Buy

chunky glitter

You can never go wrong with glitter! This is an easy 5 minute manicure that requires little or no patience but still looks amazing!

All I did was paint my nails and added a coat of sheer glitter polish on top . I did a mix of 3 polishes (pink, green, and orange) just to change it up a bit.

random nail flicks

This is usually the look i do on my nails when I cant decide what else to do ! It looks completely different each time when done with different colour combos so play around with colours and different finishes of polishes (shimmer, glitter , matte, metallic etc.)

Start by adding a few flicks of one colour and slowly build the up , coming from different directions and varying in lengths. this works great when done with a striping brush.
