Hi, guys!
So I haven’t really had a lot of time to do my nails recently so I have been generally going for just a plain polish , but today I decided to add a little something extra to make them stand out but that can be done in seconds!
I just did this on one nail, but as you can see its just a series of flicks in black, white, and bright neon pink.
I bought the trio of striper polishes from Penneys (Primark in the UK) and the Purple Nail polish is 132-Break through from Essence.

So I finally caved and made an Instagram account . I don’t usually post any work that I do professionally on here because I like to keep it to simple , easy nail looks that everyone can try or to just show you what kind of brands or colour polish / trends i’m loving.
I’ve just started my account so there is very limited amount of pictures on it (I think like …8…!!!) but i will definitely keep adding more. The majority of the images that will be uploaded will be of gel or shellac nails but I might throw in a few random ones on natural nails every now and then .

Hmmm , I havn’t written here in ages!
So I decided to do these pink ombré nails today . It gets gradually darker towards the tip of the nail.
You can use any colour combination you like . I did a base coat of white and chose 4 colours for the gradient effect:

How to :
One of my favourite all year round colours is Rimmel ‘Grey matter’. For this Look I painted my nails with a base coat and two coats of Grey matter . To finish it off I used a silver , glittery top coat from the brand 17 , starting from the cuticle and sweeping it up towards the free edge creating a fading effect .
It can be done with any colours you like . Here’s mine :

I love the new 17 highlighter but only if my makeup has been done under a certain light or else I look like my whole face is sparkling!

I think rimmel and 17 take up the majority of my make up collection.
Sloth: What product do you ignore the most due to laziness?
hmm Im really bad at sticking to a skin care routine so sometimes if I’m lazy ill just take my makeup off with a face wipe before bed.
Pride: Which product gives you the most confidence?
Foundation , personally the max factor Facefinity, all day flawless because it is a primer,concealer and foundation all in one, and Its full coverage without looking cakey . It covers all blemishes, dark circles and redness and I generally dont leave the house unless I have at least foundation on.
Lust: What item is at the top of your list?
Id love to try bobbi brown shimmer brick in bronze just to compare it to my 17 one that looks the EXACT same as it.But otherwise Id love every O.P.I. nail varnish ever created!

It wasn’t only the colour that caught my eye , but the fact that it had so many good qualities to it for such an affordable price. When I first applied this polish It took two coats for it to be fully opaque but you could definitely get away with just one. I wore It for about five days without chipping without a top coat! It says on the packaging that it has colour-lock technology that creates a chip resistant shield for long lasting colour, and its very evident in this polish.
This polish just so happens to be healthier than most polishes on the market .
•It’s infused with Vitamin E that helps give you stronger , healthier nails
•It’s Toluene Free
•It’s formaldehyde free
•It’s Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) free
The bristles of the brush are the perfect length and makes the colour glide on effortlessly and dries almost instantly.

So seeing as its almost Christmas I decided on a snowflake Mani .I painted my nails with a dark blue/ navy colour . I added a silver glittery nail polish coat to my pinky, thumb and middle finger . I then painted on the snowflakes with a striping brush and white polish and added a coat of the silver glitter polish on top of those thin lines.
It’s easier than it looks to create the snowflakes.
Start by doing a large X on your nail, do a slightly smaller X in between this one and then do small lines coming from each section of each X to make it look more delicate and feathery.
I heard of these types of polishes ages ago and just never really tried them out. I picked one up today and gave it a shot. It’s the beauty line in penneys/primark in the UK and Ireland and retails for €1.50! I chose the light pink colour with black/ grey spots.
I really liked the effect it gave and and its something that can’t be acheived so easily with a dotting tool. I really like how the spots differed in size and the way the colours contrasted.The brush was a perfect size and I did two coats to make it quite opaque although you could probably get away with one.
